Hello.
Thanks for taking the time to visit nothingbutreboots.com. The purpose of this site is to act as something of a hub for all the projects (albeit small ones) I am currently working on or have worked on in the past, and a place to find any/all documentation or resources that I’ve made use of whilst completing said projects. I’m interested in a wide range of things, and hopefully some of it will be of interest and use to some passing internet stranger.
The site’s original (and I guess therefore true) purpose was to act as a repository of information that had taken me longer than 30 seconds of Googling to find. I guess ‘in this day and age’ I’m spoilt, if I can’t find an answer to a problem within 30 seconds of Googling, I consider myself hard done by.
So this site is here to allow me to document these obscure and ‘niggly’ problems that have required me to actually conduct some ‘proper research’, and in some cases actually come up with the solution myself. (Perish the thought).
Alas, this site may well end up like the 10 million other ‘blog-sites’ out there – underused and irrelevant.
In the meantime it will act as a place for me to test various web apps etc – head over to the labs section of the site to see the littany of half configured tools/apps! Alternatively, take a look at my blog to see the most current stuff I’m working on.
