The interface references above are a little different if you are using the STATIC IP:

O2_ADSL2plus => Static_IP

eth_llu => RtEthoA

atm_llu => atm_nat

Discovered this after resetting to DHCP, dumping user.ini, then reconfiguring to static ip and dumping user.ini again.

Hope that helps someone...

I'm falling much earlier, I must be missing something here.
I've logged in as SuperUser, twice.
telnet always fails to connect. nmap shows ony port 80 open.
I've tried accepting from all on service telnet in firewall config.
I've tried setting up telnet server as a shared application.
How do I get telnet port active?

Hi there! Just trying this myself at the moment, after my awful TP-Link all but set itself alight in its death throes. My ADSL2plus connection isn't recreated after removing it. Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Rash,

Sorry I've only just noticed your message. Unfortunately I don't - can existing customers request the newer box?

These instructions have been fantastic! My WRT54G + O2 wireless box as a bridge have been rock solid for 6 months now!

Do you have instructions for the newer O2 Wirelesss Box Iv?

Hi John,

This was a long time ago now, but I do remember having exactly the same concern. The answer is no - the interface is recreated later. Have faith :)

Cheers,
Luke.

On the first line of the Telnet commands it reads "ip ifdelete intf=O2_ADSL2plus". Would this not delete the ADSL2+ interface leaving the router to connect through ADSL only?

Questions for you!!!
I'd found the link you had, but I'm obviously missing a couple of pointers?!

Telnet...tick!
telnet commands...tick!
Log on to web interface and untick DHCP...tick!
* Do you apply here or not? *
Back in the telnet, enter the next set of commands, changing to 192.168.2.1 (Edimax BR6547N Gigabit router) where appropriate? 3 instances?...tick!
Save the user ini...tick!
Check the eth bridge list, all good...tick!
Create the SuperUser...tick!
Tun off non essentials in web interface...tick!
My telnet sessions drops out then?
Can't get back into the box? Connect up my router, leave it for about half an hour and it gets an external IP, but no connection?
Thoughts please!!!
